I recently stayed at Äppelgården Bed & Breakfast and was truly impressed. The attention to detail in the decor of this 1892 house felt like a step back in time, with a touch of modern sophistication that could grace the pages of Vogue. The room with a private bathroom, the Rembrandt room, was not only comfortable but exquisitely decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere with wildflowers and candles. The breakfast was a highlight, offering fresh juices and homemade treats that were simply delightful. The serene private garden, filled with fruits and veggies, provided a peaceful retreat close to nature, enhancing the overall experience. I also indulged in a tranquil yoga class in the on-site studio, adding another layer of relaxation to my stay. The impeccable hospitality of Alexandra and her husband truly made me feel at home, turning Äppelgården into a little piece of paradise near Mariestad. I highly recommend this 'feel-good' place to anyone seeking a blend of comfort, aesthetics, and a rejuvenating connection with nature. I can't wait to return for another enchanting stay.
